The 2016 version can be updated to 64bit which is what Catalina requires for all applications.
Came across Googles DNS solution. However, whenever I attempt to update Word, Excel I bought Microsoft Word in 2014 with my laptop in the Mac Store.
There are a lot of Macs out there that are perfectly functional, but are too old to install Catalina.
